I have the previous PS4 Gold headset, and it was pretty solid

Overall a great surround sound PS4 headset that doesn't hurt after 30 minutes of use.

Of course, the ideal solution would be for the PS4 to simply be compatible with all Bluetooth devices and not just Sony branded stuff

I figured he was using the crappy earbuds that came with the PS4, so I mentioned the Gold PS4 Headset was on sale

but the sound is incredible :) As far as the Ps4 wireless connectivity... incredible!
