I am not sure whether the Golds had harder ear cups or squeezed my head harder, but I always removed the golds between matches for some relief

The cushions wouldn't go over my ears but [before you say anything, NO my ears aren't HUGE], I guess I could live with that knowing I'd probably have to remove them to make sure I wouldn't hurt my ears over a long period of time

Until today (3/25/17) the clasp that bends the right ear cup inward broke for no apparent reason.

Maybe perfect for petite people but at 6'2/270 I have a larger head than some people, so after a little while this really starts to hurt my ears (because they don't fit 100% inside the cups).

Well, the side with the on/off button must be on the left ear as that has the mic I guess

My only complaint is my ears generally start to hurt after an hour or so

Only issue is my large ears, and even these headphones are not big enough to make my ears 110% comfortable, so big ears beware

it has a 'side tone' feature in which the sound of your own voice and the outside sounds get fed back into the headset so your ears don't feel so isolated

Although they did not fold, they had/have a narrow section above the ear cups where they broke - on both sides

They are comfortable enough to wear for hours without getting irritating or hurting my ears even when wearing glasses

If this could be improved then I'd give it a 5.One last negative is that after a while the ear muffs start hurting my ears due to pressure.

i bought this as a present for my brother in law and i could say i see him use it alot and says the only bad thing about it is that his ears sweat but besides that its great.

The inner ear cuffs last fine and the inner padding lasts fine without any tearing or splitting.

like too many Chinese/Japanese/Taiwanese products made for sale in the West, they do seem to design based on "typical" asian population measurements (petite) rather than for "typical" big, tall, clumsy floppy eared European-blooded measurements

and I lose the full Emerson gaming sound that it has because my ear isn't completely covered after being broke

Very crisp and clear sound quality, ears do not get hot or start to hurt, and seems durable.

they seem sturdy as long as you don't abuse them, the downside is that after a while they do tend to hurt my ear, I guess they are tight

Wether it be the right side, you'll hear the footsteps through the right ear of the headset and vice versa

I love this headset because it doesn't hurt my ears or head even after wearing some for more than 2 hours

I bought in December and they broke as I was pulling them off my head.

I just hate the fact that I now have to spend another $100 to get another pair since my warranty has been used up after they broke the SAME way on the SAME ear as they did not even 4 months ago.

I decided to keep them, as they come with a longer cord that you can affix to the headphones and controller - which ultimately saves the controller battery from draining as fast as when they are wireless, but... that defeats the whole purpose of buying a wireless headset.
