PlayStation Gold Wireless Stereo Headset - Jet Black [Old Model]

    • My biggest issue is that after 10 minutes my ears are sweating like sponges dipped in water...distracts from the game
    • I am not sure whether the Golds had harder ear cups or squeezed my head harder, but I always removed the golds between matches for some relief
    • The cushions wouldn't go over my ears but [before you say anything, NO my ears aren't HUGE], I guess I could live with that knowing I'd probably have to remove them to make sure I wouldn't hurt my ears over a long period of time
    • Until today (3/25/17) the clasp that bends the right ear cup inward broke for no apparent reason.
    • Maybe perfect for petite people but at 6'2/270 I have a larger head than some people, so after a little while this really starts to hurt my ears (because they don't fit 100% inside the cups).
    • The first Afterglows I owned started to hurt my ears after a while.
    • I'm playing Paragon, and I can hear the water and river running in my right ear, and can even hear an enemy walking sneaking up on my left in my left ear
    • They worked great until the 8 th month and then the sound on the right ear just stopped working
    • Wish someone told me about ear size and comfort before i bought these
    • but I have goofy big ears
    • Well, the side with the on/off button must be on the left ear as that has the mic I guess
    • My only complaint is my ears generally start to hurt after an hour or so
    • They hurt my ears after awhile and make them very warm
    • I can only wear it for maybe two hours before it starts hurting my ears (as the cushioning around the earpieces if insufficient).
    • Only issue is my large ears, and even these headphones are not big enough to make my ears 110% comfortable, so big ears beware
    • After a few hours my ears will start to ache, but I have large ears and I've never found any headphones to be comfortable over a long period of time
    • it has a 'side tone' feature in which the sound of your own voice and the outside sounds get fed back into the headset so your ears don't feel so isolated
    • Although they did not fold, they had/have a narrow section above the ear cups where they broke - on both sides
    • They are comfortable enough to wear for hours without getting irritating or hurting my ears even when wearing glasses
    • If this could be improved then I'd give it a 5.One last negative is that after a while the ear muffs start hurting my ears due to pressure.
    • Hurts ear after 2-3 hours
    • Hurts my ears after one hour
    • Pros:- Over the ear- Good Sound
    • i bought this as a present for my brother in law and i could say i see him use it alot and says the only bad thing about it is that his ears sweat but besides that its great.
    • The inner ear cuffs last fine and the inner padding lasts fine without any tearing or splitting.
    • My ears still sweat after a while but not as bad.
    • I'm playing Paragon, and I can hear the water and river running in my right ear, and can even hear an enemy walking sneaking up on my left in my left ear
    • like too many Chinese/Japanese/Taiwanese products made for sale in the West, they do seem to design based on "typical" asian population measurements (petite) rather than for "typical" big, tall, clumsy floppy eared European-blooded measurements
    • and I lose the full Emerson gaming sound that it has because my ear isn't completely covered after being broke
    • CHEAP contruction and terrible ear padding
    • Very crisp and clear sound quality, ears do not get hot or start to hurt, and seems durable.
    • I experience was discomfort with the ear cups very uncomfortable with glasses
    • Awesome sounds, but my headset lost audio in the left ear after 9,months of use
    • They are very comfortable and the ears are very easy to adjust.
    • My biggest issue is that after 10 minutes my ears are sweating like sponges dipped in water...distracts from the game
    • It hurts my ears.
    • they seem sturdy as long as you don't abuse them, the downside is that after a while they do tend to hurt my ear, I guess they are tight
    • Wether it be the right side, you'll hear the footsteps through the right ear of the headset and vice versa
    • I love this headset because it doesn't hurt my ears or head even after wearing some for more than 2 hours
    • My ears no longer hurt after a few hours and the sound quality is pretty good.
    • I ditched my old, wired headset because I would play Overwatch for 5 hours and my ears would start to hurt really badly
    • Most normal headsets hurt my ears, but these are comfortable.
    • Right ear died after a
    • Works just as they should
    • I bought in December and they broke as I was pulling them off my head.
    • I just hate the fact that I now have to spend another $100 to get another pair since my warranty has been used up after they broke the SAME way on the SAME ear as they did not even 4 months ago.
    • I decided to keep them, as they come with a longer cord that you can affix to the headphones and controller - which ultimately saves the controller battery from draining as fast as when they are wireless, but... that defeats the whole purpose of buying a wireless headset.
    • Works as
    • this works okay, but not as well as it could because of the big con
    • It's probably letting me know it's going to blow up as
