I can see why some people say they break easily, every time I pick them up by the band I feel like they're going to fall apart, but I hope they won't.

this helps if you have or already own multiple headsets, then having a blue tooth sony compatible headset for your PS3 and PS4 will suffice just try to limit your time to maybe a few hours and use other headsets for different uses.this headset is only good for gaming on the ps3 and ps4 for short durations.not an everyday headset for music or sound.

The metal rod of the hinge is held in place by plastic that will crack and eventually break over time.

Every time you put them on or take them off, the piece that goes over the top of your head cracks a little more

The crack opened up the first time I tried using it after noticing

When I called back and selected the same options I got the message that "Gamer support has a wait time of less than 60 minutes
