works very good; but living in a condo, but in the afternoon the wireless traffic in the area really picks up & of course slows down a bit; Hooked it up about a week ago in the afternoon, & I did not see much difference in speed; by the next Morning, it really starting picking up the speed & after a couple of days it really got super quick for my Chromebook and it is constantly quick regardless of the time of the day; Just plug & play on the Chromebook; & hey guys, for less than $20 bucks this is a steal; I picked up the USB 3.0 Model since it is backward compatible since I will use on my next unit; Go Ahead;

I may muck with it a bit before I return it, but for now my verdict is do not recommend for linux users

Once that was figured out, it was very quick to install and has given me back Ethernet on a Mac with a broken E-port
