With my laptops built in Bluetooth, I can walk into the garage (about 40ft away) before I start to lose connection

The device works perfectly now with a range that allows me to travel throughout my entire (3000 sq ft) house and never lose a connection

this bluetooth adapter works fantastic, I love it, it has a very strong connection to my bluetooth keyboard with no latency issues whatsoever, HOWEVER, when I tried to pull the adapter out of my pc's USB port, the black cover that reads 'plugable' just pulled right off the adapter
