I have had several portable music stands, all of which were flimsy and wobbly.

This is a great stand lamp, the crookneck is firm yet flexible and the charge lasts a long time

It works amazing with my desktop and is clear and loud enough without phantom power, although I seriously recommend using phantom power as it makes it even more clear and loud

For the podcast I usually record using a usb mixer, an Alesis Multimix8, directly to the PC and the DAW Audacity, the four mics together tend to get a little bit of noise on the studio, but with the Audacity's noise reduction preset, the resulting track is as clean as it should
