• Reviews around cartridge (1.76 of 5)

    Pokemon: FireRed Version

    • The pins running along horizontally across the gold contacts MUST be straight, if they are random, then you are a proud owner of a fake cartridge.- Other cosmetic things to look out for are the bevel on "Gameboy Advance" being too high/chunky, the vertical stripes along the backside will be too deep on a fake
    • If even one of them mentions a fake cartridge, it would be best if you did not purchase from them at all!
    • It made sense, until someone on a forum mentioned that some fake cartridges produced these exact same messages
    • The game itself is very fun, but I was sold a fake cartridge from Japan
    • My search lead me to several guides on how to spot fake cartridges
    • This wasn't the first fake cartridge they sold and they left the others they gave them to hanging with no refunds or communication
    • I felt like I hit the nail on the head, but how could my cartridge be fake
    • The cartridge works perfectly (the game plays and saves), and is in good shape.
    • The cartridge is clean it is able to save
    • Just a notice to anyone thinking of buying from this person (though it's doubtful since they've been inactive for a long time) that I've had a personal experience with their fake cartridges and it seems I'm not the only one!I hope everyone is able to look at this review and learn to see the signs because this was very distressing to me, though I didn't come to understand the situation until just now
    • Here's what I'm going for in the end: Charizard, Lapras, Scizor, Dragonite, Umbreon (My favorite Pokemon :D, and I can get it because I have a wireless adapter and Emerald.), and last, Pidgeot
