This system sounds great.

Until I have a real job and can afford much pricier systems, I think this system will do.

The wooden shell is robust and heavy, providing what I believe will be years of service unencumbered by vibration noises found in cheaper speaker systems.

I have another Z-5500 5.1 system in my sunroom, and it sounds as good as any 5.1 satellite system I've seen

Had a decent 5.1 bookshelf system but bought this in hopes of improving dialogue volume during movies.

Of course, this makes sense, the center channel is where a modern surround system sends the dialogue

Upgraded my home theater system ( 2x Elac B6) with cs10

but oh boy the clarity of movies and music, I now feel solid base thuds not warbles and reverberations, its like I replaced the whole system, best money I have spent in a long time, and if this the sound quality from this, then I shall be upgrading the satellites to PolK Audio over the next few months, you wont be disappointed.

Great value for money here for a great sounding system

Polk makes an amazing system and I would definitely recommend this to any audiophile.

The important thing to be aware of is that this is not a sound bar, this is a front end speaker for a nice surround system

And you can't have a decent home theater system without a center channel speaker to complement the l/r channels

I purchased this CS10 to finish out my Polk surround system, having decided to replace a much inferior Bose system I have used for several years

All I can say is how much I like my new system

The system truly shines for movies, where the receiver, speakers, and subwoofer act in concert to deliver sounds like I have never heard before in my family room

I am a budget audiophile, in the sense that I'll fuss over components in my dedicated music-listening system within limits (tip for the penny-pinching music lover: buying mostly used high-end mass-market components from the '80s and '90s, you can put together an amazing-sounding system for $1,000 to $2,000).
