The Polk Audio RM6750 5.1 system is a good system for the money.

I struggled with the thought of buying a more expensive system with bigger speakers, but at the end of the day, I am not a huge audiophile and neither are most buyers.

With limited tweaking, the system in my living room sounds pretty much indistinguishable from the setup in most of the movie theaters I've frequented.

Paired this up with a Yamaha RX-V765 and after 16 gauge wire, HDMI cables etc. have an incredible sound system for roughly $1,100.Read the other reviews -- you will not be disappointed with this system.

I paired this with Polk T15 bookshelf speakers and a YamahaRX-V671 receiver and I now have a great system.

For this price range I am hard pressed to think that you will find a better sounding speaker system and one that comes from a quality manufacturer such as Polk.

This compact surround system works great with my home theater set-up in a pretty small room, but you might be disappointed if you want to use it to listen to much in the way of music.

At this pricepoint what are remarkable are not the system's weaknesses but its strengths: the center provides clear dialog, the four surrounds are bright and forward, and the sub adequately if not accurately renders the "thumps"

I was hoping to find a good quality system at a good price, so having found the system, I got the good price through Amazon.

I decided to switch over to Sonos because I wanted a more compact, wire-free system for small apartment living and I gave this to my sister and installed them and my 7 year old Sony receiver in her large living room where it also sounds great and fills the room no problem (about a 12’ X 25’ space).

This is a good quality system, certainly not top of the line, but it is probably the best system available at this price point

One thing to keep in mind, this has a powered subwoofer so it'll sound better than most of the passive subwoofers you'll find on the inexpensive allinone surround sound systems.

I was worried about the sub having only 50 watts but it sounds just as good as the 100w sony powered sub i had before, you do have to get a y connector to split a mono connection for the
