    • My HyperX Solocast is a nice little mic but the internal compressor did not do a good enough job of filtering out background noise
    • Mounting was super easy and my portable mic sound isolator folds easily around the mic and pop-filter
    • Fits my mic and works great to reduce pops
    • Works exceptionally well for my very sensitive mic the elastic bands that hold it on could be better though
    • If you have a bulky mic like the Yeti, go with one of the foam covers or the typical circle filters that sit in front of the mic
    • It's nice to have to protect your mic.
    • I'm not sure how it would work on a front-address mic, like a dynamic mic, but for side-address, it works well on plosives.
