This cd player works well through the car's speakers if you connect it through the AUX cord provided.

so I wound up buying a great little speaker from Amazon which arrived today!

I just put the CD player and attached portable mini-speaker on the passenger seat or the center console rather than try to wire everything into the USB ports.

I connected the Gueray player to my new T&G portable speaker and the sound is great

I connect it to a portable speaker and it works well.

I had to go out and buy a separate portable phone speaker in order to use the CD player in the car, but once I did that everything was fine, and the sound is decent event though it doesn't play through the car speakers.

I use this every night with cozy phone earphones and TMI hemi-sync CD’s,works great.
