By Doing a lot of traveling you will notice if you are not in a economy plus seat on some airlines they will not offer in seat power and being on an 8 hour plus flight will be painful without some entertainment and also in some of the major airports you know the hassle of trying to find a charging area they are always hogged up and some airports don't even offer ports to charge your devices so if your an avid traveler and would love to keep powered up i would recommend this the build quality is great and the battery pack will give you a handful of charges before you will have to charge it no issues with the product its a great battery pack and very reliable when you need a quick charger either at an airport or home without electricy during a storm this will be great have a good day!

at this point i was just trying to drain the battery before doing a full charge and testing again.. needless to say I never was able to get it to zero - I finally broke down and charged it, I also purchased the recommended charger - took about 12 hours before all lights were solid indicating full charge

That connection causes a constant drain in the internal battery only allowing me about an hour before the iPad's battery is drained

This does not mean at all that this battery isn't great or useful, it's just that minor OCD gripe of having a fully charged brick when you're about to go.
