Maybe a slight change in the front of the unit, it blows air , cold air out of the front onto the operator

this is a downdraft cooling pad meaning that it sucks air from the top and blows it out the bottom, pulling heat away from the laptop;; that is why in the 'paper test videos' the pad does not lift the paper up from the top.

If I blew air myself over the laptop, it would provide more cooling power than this.

I think I really need one of those coolers that suck the air out of the vent but cant find one to fit my HP laptop pavillion g7 because the external screen port connection which I use is right next to the air vent

I wish they still offered the soft cover as well as it is more practical for me to carry because at my job I am constantly out in the field.
