Awesome cooling pad with an even better price tag!

I just purchased this cooling pad for my 17" laptop that had been running way too hot.

If you accidentally stick your finger up under the cooling pad your fingers will hit the spinning fan, but there is enough clearance that you shouldn't do this too often if using this on your lap

The major drawback to me is that the power switch and controls to the fans are located in the back of the cooling pad instead of the front where it would make more sense and be much more accessible

My 17.3 inch laptop, ASUS ROG G751JY is a little bit bigger than the actual cooling pad, the laptop is unstable on pad because of that, but it is my mistake, I should've bought a cooling pad for an 18 inch

I've tried a few different cooling pads

this is a downdraft cooling pad meaning that it sucks air from the top and blows it out the bottom, pulling heat away from the laptop;; that is why in the 'paper test videos' the pad does not lift the paper up from the top.

The second item is that the fans are somewhat open on the bottom side of the cooling pad.

I've been using the XB-1004 Xbrand Laptop Lap Desk with Retractable Mouse Pad for years for my lap around the house or when traveling.

I wish they still offered the soft cover as well as it is more practical for me to carry because at my job I am constantly out in the field.
