The design itself is clever, but the plastic construction is too flimsy to suit my needs.

Plus .. this is a very nifty design: Once you figure out how to open and close it (it's clever!), you will feel as some of us do when watching "How It's Made": who the heck thought of this?

, if used with care (don't knock into them, don't pull a cord across them, don't mind their overall awkward design, etc.)

It is less sturdy with the bass, but that is most likely due to the irregular shape and not the design of the product

This product is extremely well designed with rubber grips keeping the guitar in place without marring its finish

The stand seemed well made, the design was nice because it was easy to set up and it was very compact.

This is a great idea & a clever design...if only much of the plastic could be replaced with a sturdier metal so that it doesn't bend when trying to close it, creating a fear in me that it will break if I close it too fast
