It was very reasonably priced, its sturdy, has rubber on it so your guitar sits comfortably and won't scratch or slide around, its light weight, and folds up to where you could carry it around in your hand if you needed to while traveling

I would use this at home-where portability isn't necessary, but the price and function is good- and probably for gigs when I'm playing solo--where I want to travel light and wouldn't have to worry about someone else bumping into it and easily knocking my guitar over

If you're a bassist, forget about it - particularly with a top-heavy P-bass; unless you've centered it perfectly, the instrument will begin to lean, then fall.
