For a small wine maker it is a good tool at a small price.

I think that this is a great hand tool and it does the job well IMO.

If you are doing small batches this is a great tool just not that sturdy.

All kidding aside, this does a great job of seating corks in wine bottles

Use the right size corks, and soak them a water and sanitizer solution for an hour or two before bottling

For one, make sure you have the right sized corks for the bottles

I suggest that you buy a few different size corks to have on hand so that you have the right size for your bottle.

I did have to watch how far it pushed the cork in but that I may have bought the wrong size

I like the price and compact size but found I had to soak the #9 corks in water to get them to my standard 750 ml wine bottles.

Works well, shorter handles so a bit more work then my last one.

This guy has been a work horse and the only issue I have is the need to rinse it after each corking
