Also, make sure that you don't plug the amp into anything while it's powered on, doing so will create a loud buzzing noise (It will make your ears bleed)

hum, intolerable noise, i tried it on different outlets and different speakers to no avail.

headphone amplifier didn't even do that and it can make an annoying noise sometimes because of this.
