While some may prefer that smooth bottom, as I'm sure you can get quicker strokes on the advanced gaming keys, I really do prefer the extra grip and stability of the textured bottom

The version pictured has a textured underside for better grip.

The thumbsticks are excellent and have comfortable gripping for constant use
