I tested the cable with two different tv’s and multiple devices and it does not work for some reason

If you're not pushing this high quality of of content then the cable will work but anything at the quality I just described is clearly unreliable

When troubleshooting video problems leads you to suspect bad HDMI cables, don't discount that theory

So if you just upgrade to a 4K TV make sure you have a good 4K cable like these so you will get what you pay for.
