The bluetooth works excellently with my iphone 5 (I believe the radio uses bluetooth 4.0) and only rarely have problems with skipping, static, etc

I listen to music through my 3rd generation iPad via USB connection or my HTC EVO 4G (non-LTE) via USB connection or bluetooth streaming (only if I'm in a hurry though or don't have my USB cable with me - read on to find out why).In my experience, listening to music via direct USB connection from either the iPad or EVO is superior to bluetooth streaming
