I don't need to take it out to fit it in the pocket, and the band stays secure on my arm.
I like how the band fits and how the cover protects my phone from moisture while I walk
I am kind of scrawny in the arm category, so I do have some trouble keeping the band comfortable up close to my bicep - tends to work its way down and can mildly chafe on my inner elbow when jogging / running.
I cannot comment about the ease of use when it comes to cords because I mainly use bluetooth earbuds, but I definitely would recommend this band
The downside is the actual band that goes around the arm is quite short
