Two years ago I scoured the internet looking for the best Bluetooth transmitter I could find, to use with our TV at night.

TaoTronics BT Transmitter with TOSLINK Optical failed because it would only work with a 3.5 mm cable; the digital optical port simply did NOT work.

This is a GREAT long-range bluetooth transmitter, which I use to go to my Anker Sound Buds Life that I wear to allow sound boost for me alone, while others in the room use the speakers driven by the TV set at a lower sound level.

Note: since giving the above feedback, I tried a competitive Bluetooth transmitter from Taotronics, and have experienced the same issue, so apparently the problem is not the fault of the Avantree Bluetooth transmitter.

I emailed Avantree with technical questions prior to purchasing the Oasis transmitter.

The transmitter is solid, very good range, even though walls, works‼️ .
