I had bought a cheap unit and had trouble, so I thought that if I purchased one that cost three times as much I would get good results

This unit is attractive nonetheless.

The only way to do so is to go to the Oasis unit (next to the TV) and press it's

The unit works as advertised although there is a noticeable, albeit slight, delay between actual tv and transmitted signal.

Mine was likely just a bad unit but would not connect or setup.

There are cheaper units, but I can understand why this unit is highly rated and a bit more expensive - it feels "built to last," is very easy to use, looks like a pretty solid piece of equipment, and seems to have pretty good service

The new unit took over a week to arrive, even though I'm a Prime member, and it doesn't work any better than the original one

This unit connects our radio/audio receiver to our TV via the fiber optic connection (SPDIF) and it works really well

Since this particular unit doesn't support volume adjustment from my headset, since the manufacturer says it's a firmware problem, since the firmware update they sent cannot be loaded onto the unit as the software sent doesn't match the installation instructions, since the manufacturer hasn't responded to my additional support request in what I consider to be a reasonable amount of time and because I have no confidence in the unit, I've returned it to Amazon.

I may have gotten a bad unit.

I was emailing with Avantree and was getting advice until I told the person the unit was defective and had a 2 year warranty

This unit is great, had a cheaper model and had a hard time getting more that about 20 to 25 feet out of it

This unit may or may not satisfy that expectation so may not connect.

That unit did not work either

The audio volume is significantly greater on the smaller, cheaper unit as compared to the more expensive, non-portable Oasis.

The range is shorter than advertised but customer support ordered to provide me with a more powerful unit

It's had a few rare hiccups that were resolved by turning the unit from transmitting mode to receiving and back again, or clearing the paired devices history

I'll then decide on more of the OASIS units or another Advantree BT adapter

The Oasis is sn awesome unit.

The first unit worked for less than a week and Amazon replaced it.

The first unit I received had a restriction and I believe was geared more towards headphones, so you don't bust your ear drums

And this unit supports two simultaneous users, so I can have two different devices available to stream to the PA (e.g. a pad or FIIO, and also have my Android phone ready to run as a backup, or two different devices ready to stream two different programs.)The voice prompts work great

This unit works well into the backyard.

Last week I received another Oasis this one clearly labeled “Customized to Echo Dot.”After a week, the unit has been working quite well

This unit has performed very well for me.

Overall, the unit is effective and accomplishes its purpose, delivering a usable bluetooth signal over most of our lakeside lot.

It is a very simple unit overall, but simple as in you don't have to guess how it works - it is very intuitive to use, and the voice prompts that pop up when you're configuring the unit are easy to follow and understand

In the last two years after 2 other brands finally found one that is easy to use and works with more than one unit at once rang transmission is good but recieving is only as good as the unit sending to this rec/ trans. is capable of

With that help I could effectievly shut off the Voice Command and the unit is working to my satisfaction.

n’t have lip sync delay when paired with avantree torpedo plus .
