Since the griddle cannot be removed it makes it a bit more difficult to clean
-
A bit hard to

I will warn you.. if you like to add ingredients like fruit to your waffles, don't add it to the batter; it will make a bit of a mess on the irons (still easy to clean off but a little more time consuming)

Although this presto flip waffle maker had a lot of good reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about getting it due to the negative reviews, but I went ahead and ordered one.
-
I was a bit hesitant to make waffles because I associated it with a huge mess

I might also add that the LCD is a bit difficult to read.
