I can't describe how frustrating it is to spend two minutes twisting one of these through my sharpener and pull it out only to have the lead drop into my lap with a beautiful and utterly useless point.

The pencils are bright and vibrant, hold a point very well and are comfortable and easy to hold

I used a electric pencil sharpener for these pencils and was able to sharpen to a fine point

Great lay down, blendable, and great points for detail

Also with some of the pencils, when you sharpen them,you end up using most of the pencil to get a decent point

Every pencil I sharpened, the points broke off.

One pink did have an uneven point but sharpened nicely in a Panasonic electronic push sharpener

At least there’s no need for a fine point on a coloring pencil...

(as a matter of fact, less than a month ago I had to contact the maker of those "P" pencils and ask for a replacement set of 36 because with their FIRST sharpening, almost half the pencils had to be trimmed down at least 1/4th just to get a halfway decent point due to the cores falling out with the 2nd turn of the trimmer!)The cores are nicely thick and

What is the point of them if you waste half of the pencil....so disappointed.

The points were not damaged in shipping.

(If some points weren't broken) need better quality control.

Okay, one thing I hate is when a coloured pencil breaks, and you use up half the pencil trying to get a decent point.

One has to sharpen them quite often to keep a decent point, but the lead kept crumbling as I sharpened the pencil

I've gotten good points on the tips.

I will enjoy using them for preliminary drawings of paintings as I like them very much, especially since there are different softnesses and hardnesses in this set.
