I always like when the dark and light wood grains invert as you shift the item around

The wood is solid, and I'm not afraid of warping or cracking it during normal use

The mahogany wood is beautiful, and it is easily playable right out of the box once it is tuned

The mahogany “satin” finish is porus, so the back of the neck is not quite as smooth as on an instrument made with finer grained wood.

Solid wood instruments crack and split easier if not properly handled and stored
