Works best when placed on a hard floor

Bought this for my son to practice on our hard floors

Nice size and can be used on carpet or hard flooring

If you use it in a garage or hard floor the ball rolls way too quickly.

and I wanted something to protect the floor/

As others have mentioned..keep the box to store it in when not in use and if you lie this on a hard linoleum floor you may want toput a washcloth under the holes to keep the ball from popping out

Just a heads up in case you dont have a hard floor to place it on.

We have hard wood floors and it works great

I still give it 5/5 stars because it generally doesn't affect the usability and wouldn't be the case if it were lying on hard flooring

Cups are a bit shallow so balls bounce out on hard floors underneath.
