This power charger (ac adapter) worked like a champ...right up until the time it stopped working

Beware as it has the potential to ruin your Samsung Galaxy S3 and possibly cause a fire depending upon WHERE the phone is placed during the "charging" session!!!

So it works exactly as you want - my only gripe is the orientation of the blades - if you're plugging into a multi-strip, unless you get the socket on the end you'll be taking up space for 2 sockets!
