Update to my original post below: As another reviewer stated: it performed well initially but within a few months the mic on/off switch became stuck in the on position and the indicator light stopped working, which drains drains the battery constantly and quickly

It performed well initially but after about 2 weeks the power switch in the pedestal became stuck in the on position and the indicator light stopped working.

It seemed as if the switching mechanism was possibly the issue but the indicator light would remain illuminated during its "acting up" periods
