I have it connected to the shelf speakers and it has more than enough power to fill an 18X20 room

First off, I purchased the Lepai 2020+ unit for ~25 bucks when building my little bike sound system some time ago... worked great, no complaints other than the AC adapter not providing enough power (but since I wired to 12v direct, wasn't issue to me)Then one day, I reversed polarity by accident and fried the little guy - didn't know that could happen so be warned!

First, the power adapter didn't work

Gave it 4 stars since I think it should come with the proper power supply.

It has enough power to shake the floor from the woofer

I'm only powering a mid-sized set of speakers that'd come with the other stereo, and the little thing is more than powerful enough to blast out the neighbors, contrary to what some other reviews were claiming about pathetic power output

Using a different power adapter, the amplifier works great and works for everything I've needed it for.

Use it to boost power to zone 2 in my home theater and itis working good

I used this amp to boost the power from a TV to a couple of remote speakers

Overall this is a solid, cool running little amplifier it just needs a better power supply to really shine

Some users of these amps find there's not enough power or a lot of line

For the two 6.5 I'm using this app to power it plays very well and has enough power to make them thump

I swapped in one of my other cheap-o amps and it worked fine
