So in theory the product works great at 12v but when the alternator charges it at 13v the relay switches to the off postion, the blue led stays on so you would never know it was off

I swapped in one of my other cheap-o amps and it worked fine

As long as your aren't trying to take the house down this is a solid little Class-T audio amplifier especially at this price.

Note that with these cheap t-amps it's possible to do some upgrades on the caps, resistors, etc to yield a better result
