I own an older rsq karaoke machine that came with two pretty heavy duty microphones (with on/off switch and replaceable cord).

it has a good size cord on it and easy to plug in and use it all so comes in a nice

This mic is great, and the cord that comes along with it is very neat and looks professional.

No other cord that I tried would work out of the box until we discovered that this microphone requires it's cords to be wired (as in literally wired to the connectors) the exact opposite of any 3rd party cord that you will likely find on store shelves

Very Clear Long Cord

They use a heavy metal casing that appears durable, and the cord is decent enough for live sound, but a very slight hum was present with my guitar/harp amp
