The microphone has good sound and performance, but the loud "pop" it makes when turned on and off is really annoying.

Unfortunately, ten year old's friend decided to swing it around to "look like a pop star" and the cord connection broke.

The switch gives an incredibly loud pop when switching the mic off so the switch is basically useless.

The only other thing I would recommend is purchasing a pop filter if you are going to do some serious recording in order to keep out any unwanted popping/bass from certain letters that you sing.

Good pop filter, good output level.
