for such a cheap price - I am truly impressed - purchased for a small church service where our other cheap microphone was stolen - (still a lot of good people in the world) - this is used on a lectern for voice, not held close to the lips for singing - this mic, I would say is built to be held close for singing, but it does a respectable job on the lectern compared to the last one we had
