It takes over as an extra sound card like you would expect a USB mixer to do, and the sound is always better this way, but the cool thing is there is a dial for the USB audio level.

Unlike previous PYLE products I have tried, this seems very solid and well made, but the coolest thing of all is the USB interface at this price point.
