QUIXX 00070-US Paint Scratch Remover Kit

    • Horrible you need to buy the paint as well & made marks worse...
    • Paint didn't match color as well and it is not as simple as directed
    • this would only work to remove other paint or scuffs on your paint.
    • I sanded the longer more visible scratch for 15 seconds until it felt and looked smooth, the paint looked ruined and I was so worried.
    • Paint Scratch Remover Kit was pretty good, I was surprised how well it worked
    • No, it is not a quick solution to a scratch in your nice paint job.
    • and it works well if the scratch is NOT down past the clear coat and paint
    • After i applied this following the exact instructions, the paint faded and lost it's brightness
    • Well as again the great brand name wasn't what I expected the product I hoped would work did not and as far as dragging paint color into the light scratches that hasn't worked yet so to the shelf it sets, don't worry I'll be back
    • The older version of this project did not come with sandpaper and can damage your paint permanently if instructions and temperatures are not perfect.
    • My truck is Dark Carmine Red Metallic (Dark Cranberry in color), so it may work better with dark metallic paints, then other lighter colors
    • i spray-painted over remaining scratches and it looks good
    • No scratch remover will work, you need paint, then apply this or other type of repair finsih
    • I used it on an antique sewig machine where the paint was badly stained.
    • helped, need new paint anyway removed scratches on bonnet
    • Works great for simple scratches and when the paint is not yet damaged very deeply.
    • I noticed that the towel I used had a tiny bit of the blue paint from my car on it, so it seems to me that this product works by smudging the paint of you car ever so slightly into the scratches and fills them back up to smooth and conform the appearance of the space where the scratch was to the surrounding surface of the car.
    • Results are better if touch up paint just fills scratch
    • Turns out it's not a magic paint-conjuring kit
    • Im not sure if I didnt follow the directions clearly enough or if I didnt use the right touch up paint for step 1, but the scratches look worse than before
    • Deep scratches that go into the pigment coat require touch-up paint first, but for the usual scuffs, fingernail marks, and parking lot
    • Either drop $300 on a buffer an learn how to NOT burn your paint
    • I can only comment on my dark metallic paint, & it worked better then I expected, & when my son went out to look at it, he too was amazed on the results
    • #1 roughs up the paint
    • Paint scratches by looking at it wrong
    • I pressed hard as stated to "melt reform" the paint so it would fill the scratch but no change
    • What I wanted was a gentle scratch remover, so that I would not ruin my paint while fixing surface scratches
    • I followed the directions to a "t", and have to admit I was a little scared, but after following the directions and cleaning away the residue it worked as it said it would!!
    • This product didn't work as it said it should have worked
    • Does not work as unless you have touch up paint to start with, so what is the point
    • I just wouldn't spend a lot of money or even 15.00 to see if it will work as it's a shot in the dark.
    • It work as they said!!!
    • After vs before... did nothing to fix the scratch, stuff does not work as it described
