False K alerts were always a problem with other detectors until I tried the Pro M.

Besides good filtering and range, it uses a GPS based system allowing you to manually lock out false alerts

It was a great detector a decade ago (and is still OK), but while I loved the arrows the false alerts eventually started to drive me nuts

The biggest problem for me is that while it has GPS lockouts and does a good job with stationary false alerts, I have noticed that every GM, Honda, and Acura set it off.

me say that again - the Pro M does not false alert to Hondas!That single point ensures that this detector was a keeper for me.
