False K alerts were always a problem with other detectors until I tried the Pro M.

Besides good filtering and range, it uses a GPS based system allowing you to manually lock out false alerts

The biggest problem for me is that while it has GPS lockouts and does a good job with stationary false alerts, I have noticed that every GM, Honda, and Acura set it off.

IMO.I returned the Uniden R3 for this because it gives plenty of range but doesn't drive me nuts with false alerts
