    • Great audio, feels heavy-duty like a commercial radio, super battery life
    • Another problem I'm seeing on mine is distorted audio on all channels when the battery is fully charged.
    • This seems quite impressive for a built-in microphone to sound as good as a full mobile rig.-The received audio is clear thru the speaker as long as you don’t turn it up too loud.
    • The analog side has clear, booming audio, which is great
    • The audio is great
    • Receive audio was good, sensitivity seemed good and transmit was good.
    • After using it for a while, the radio has a "birdie" on some frequencies that leaves the squelch open no matter what, which distorts the audio.
    • The receive audio was rich and clear
    • Nice audio and quality build
    • The audio is great, though the speaker is a bit tinny for my taste.

    • The audio is good, not as good as my Motorola XPR 7550 of course, but good.
    • but if you are familiar with DMR than it is no issue)-Crystal clear audio
    • The audio is clear
    • So until this radio gets a decent receiver, might as well use a good analog FM radio with a decent receiver (like Kenwood, or other Chinese made radios); DMR might have clear audio and some benefits, no doubt... but the question is, what good is DMR if the receiver can't pick anything? Then there is no VFO mode on this radio... something that even the cheapies Baofeng has
    • The HT TH-F6a is slightly less capable than the mobile TM-V71a rig, but still blows this radio out of the water in receiver sensitivity... and even with the GD77 connected to my dual collinear 5/8 antenna at home, where I can pick signals with TM-V71a/TH-F6a that are coming from 80+ miles away, some of these NOAA stations that are slightly beyond their radio horizon... both Kenwood radios (TM-V71a and TH-F6a) when attached to my 5/8 collinear antenna pick these signals and produce clear audio, its not full quieting by any stretch, but they pick it up
    • The audio is substantially better than other HTs in this price range
    • The audio doesn't get distorted when the volume is turned up
    • The audio clears up once the battery is drained a
    • If you have a good basic understanding of how radio works and likes to poke around the software to try different settings or intrigue as to how things work, then you will thoroughly enjoy this radio for what it can do and it's value.
