This product didn't do a damn thing

One important thing about this kit is that it uses the UV light from the sun to cure the epoxy, so keep that in mind.

The only positive thing is that it prevents the crack from spreading.

Another important thing to remember is that when you are using the razer blade to clean off the excess resin, you'll hear a screeching sound

The more important thing for me is that the kit stopped the cracks from growing.

Did a great job filling a large rock chip in my window.

You can still tell there was a small chip however it does a great job Filling it in and preventing further crack propogation.

This product did a great job fixing the issue, you could barely see where any of the nicks were..

Just be patient and follow the instructions, and you should see great results.

Just replace the windshield because if you expect perfect results with these products you will just be setting yourself up for disappointment...and wasting money in the process.

Bought this cheap kit figured I would try before taking it somewhere as it's generally ~$30 to fix them at a windshield repair shop

The Rain-X kit simply 'pushes' resin into the cracks, and its very ineffective

My only complaint (sort of) is that it doesn't hide the cracks in the windshield as advertised, but I'm more than satisfied that it stopped them from spreading and saved a buck!

In the end, though, it was enough to pass inspection but it didn't work as advertised.
