This extended arm works well same excellent quality as other RAM products would be nice if they had an eight inch model.

This extended arm was perfect for replacing a shorter arm when I moved my mount to a Jeep with a steeper raked windshield

The inflexible positioning capabilities of this and the shorter arms, makes getting the mount point (suction cup) out of the frame, pointing the camera in the right direction, and in a position which does not obstruct the driver's view impossible

I love thelonh arm because it brings my phone closer to me for better viewing.

It seems that the next smallest size is 1/2 of this, I wouldhave liked something around 4" instead of this, but it works exactly as it is supposed to work, so I'm happy.
