    Rayman Origins

    • It's a mixture of all the best elements of 2D Super Mario Bros (small part of Sonic), mixed in with stunning HD graphics
    • This is probably the best platform game since Super Mario Bros Wii.
    • Rayman Origins piqued my interest because I was looking for a platformer that reminded me of the original Super Mario Bros. for NES
    • I think this is a nice twist of battle toads and super mario (if you are my age you should understand that reference!).
    • Basically, think of Super Mario World or Donkey Kong Country, and it's right there with those
    • For those who enjoyed the platforming games such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Brothers
    • Now a little bit about the game: Rayman Origins is a mixture of great graphics, Super Mario similarities, Sonic speed in some instances, and Aladin (SEGA) in enemy fight moments... really good choice to make ... also, capabilities of 4 players is definitely a plus vs Rayman Classic that had only 1.GREAT GAME - if you like platform games you will definitely add another great game to your collection...
    • Okay, but Mario and DKC are better.
    • There are elements of Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, Earthworm Jim, and even Gradius found within this game.
    • Awesome fun game to play with friends, now of course people who are into in dept Fps (first person shooters), won't really like this cause it just isn't there style, if you loved playing sonic/mario back in the day then you should really like this.
    • Another comparable game would be Super Mario Bros Wii, which I also didn't get that into, mostly because it was crazy hard, but I felt that one was better than this in level design, innovation, and multiplayer interaction
    • Up to 4 players can play at the same time, and I found the experience to be more enjoyable than New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
    • It is really similar to New Super Mario Brothers Wii, but is able to differentiate with its own charm
    • Like LittleBigPlanet and New Super Mario Bros., less is more when it comes to conquering the campaign
    • It is sort of Super Mario-esque and good for nearly all ages
    • The structure of the game is akin to Super Mario 3 (among other platformers), where you are presented with a world map and can select which level you want to play
    • For those who enjoyed the platforming games such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Brothers
    • Rayman Origins borrows some from New Super Mario Bros. Wii but manages to out perform its inpiration
    • In Rayman, you can defeat your enemies by either jumping on top of them (think Mario Bros) or punching/kicking them
    • The original Super Mario Bros. had 32 levels, and you typically skipped a lot of them.
    • Like LittleBigPlanet and New Super Mario Bros., less is more when it comes to conquering the campaign.
    • There are several unlockable characters (though they are all basically different colored versions of the 4 main characters) and a secret final level, so it pays to collect as many Lums (the equivalent of coins in Super Mario Bros.) as possible.
    • I die a
    • The characters that you will play such as Rayman, Globox and the Teensies will gain unique abilities as they progress through the adventure, including swimming, diving, slapping, and the "HairlyCopter
    • A couple of later levels where you race through the stage as it falls apart could've been a lot more clear as to where you're supposed to be going instead of taking huge leaps of faith
