Almost needed a diaper the first morning of use, as it nearly scared the crap out of me

This might not bother many people but it bugs the crap out of me.

The alarm scared the crap out of me and my dog.

After 8 mo.s, works as it should.

Humming sound as soon as it was plugged in, not good if you don't want noise while trying to sleep

I tried to return it since it is not working as it should, but guess what?

Sometimes my phone alarm plots against me by not ringing, making me miss class or work but this alarm has never failed as of yet.

Good as it's either a plug in or it can run on batteries

Other than that, I still like it, and I'd still recommend it, as long as you have both hands free to fiddle with it.

You have to reach around the alarm clock to set the time and alarm, as well as to turn the alarm on/off
