Realize that I am going from a home-made VHS tape to a 4K large TV, so the quality of the picture of a VHS-720 upscaled to 1080p on a 4K TV is not the best.

Using a 1080P TV, the picture would have been perfect (well, as perfect as it was on the old 25" picture tube TVs anyway, which is all anyone could ask for).
