I had a TE Marvel Vs Capcom 2 mad catz which i loved but the PCB on it died after 8 months

It's equal in quality to Mad Catz's best sticks and is slightly cheaper

I heard that the hori PCB out lasts the mad catz one

Hori also implemented Mad Catz's cable compartment located on the back of the stick

Before the release of the Real Arcade Pro V3 SA, I preferred the Mad Catz TE stick due to it's button layout and case shape

The start button is on the right, as opposed to on the back of the case (Mad Catz)

First of all, Hori took a note from Mad Catz and began using the button layout on the TE sticks

the response time is dead on like the mad catz

I prefer this design to the Mad Catz artwork and glossy finish

Where this stick differs from the Mad Catz TE sticks is in the case design

I do intend to purchase a Mad Catz produced stick at some time for a direct comparison (maybe the sexy BlazBlue stick), but I really don't believe they can do a better job than this.

The two most notable companies producing these sticks are Mad Catz and Hori

Mad Catz's line of Tournament Edition SF4/SSF4 sticks and Hori's Real Arcade Pro series are comparable in quality

I own a Mad Catz TE, Mad Catz SE, and this V3 SA and this is by far my favorite arcade stick that I own

I found Hori responsiveness better compared to mad catz TE when playing marvel vs capcom 3
