Alone in a dark room, I don't think even the high setting would be enough

It is light weight, has plenty of brightness for print or music, and hasn’t needed a charge in an estimated twenty hours on the brightest setting.

It does a good job illuminating the page, though I thought the "bright" setting might have been a bit brighter.
