I really like the sound

The sound comparable with many other similar players and the added ability to play music from your phone is nice.

I plugged and external speaker into the player and while the sound was a little better, unfortunately bad sound still came out of the built-in speaker

I don't have very many albums, but I am purchasing more because I love the sound.

I would highly suggest investing in bookshelf speakers, as they drastically boost the sound of any record player with a built in speaker system (most expensive ones need speakers anyways).
