Red Dead Redemption - Playstation 3

    • As with seemingly all open world games, this one is replete with random encounters and side quests for you to waste time should you choose: animal hunting, bounty hunting, treasure hunting, flower picking, gun duels, gambling, and more
    • Great story,Great graphics,great gameplay,great time setting,great music,great voice acting
    • This game is very much similar to Grand,Thief,Auto..and like GTA you do the same thing every time you play it Grand Thief Auto
    • Enjoy the single player, as it will last for hours of enjoyable play time.
    • and I guess I was expecting the same amount of detail as Grand Theft Auto, but although I had a great time playing Red Dead Redemption, I never felt totally blown away
    • I have a hard time penalizing games because of a sub-par multiplayer when the single-player is spot on but in this case it really feels like a shame.
    • Although the plot is somewhat short, It's a game that you'll enjoy time after time again
    • I waited a good long time before I invested anything into this game because I wanted to read a lot of reviews and find out if it was worth the purchase... after a lot of reading up on this game it is GREAT BUY
    • A graphically beautiful game that has plenty to do for you to waste time on living in a virtual wild west!
    • after beating gta V and not being able to play online I decided to buy this game to waste my time on
    • My character died in a cutscene, out of my control, when he could have just taken cover and killed the gang like he did EVERY OTHER TIME throughout the game
    • You can replay single player missions to try and accomplish something you missed the first time.
    • Notwithstanding, I enjoy riding from Point A to Point B (after falling off a cliff, I realized the second time I was riding on a slope that I encountered new scenarios along the ride, which makes it even more tempting to spend more time just riding).
    • I have been staying up way too late playing RDR, which unfortunately leads to a rough time going to work the next morning
    • It is a huge map, and there is always so much to do just riding from one town to another that I doubt I'll get bored any time soon
    • Another notable feature is the Dead Eye, you slow down time and choose you shots, allowing you to shoot and enemies gun out of thier hand or popping off thier head
    • For example, I can't count how many times I had to clear the bandits out of "Pike's Basin
    • one of my all-time favorites
    • It is all time-consuming good fun for a mature audience.
    • That being said, I think that I could go back through and try it again maybe being a bit evil this time
    • When you activate this, John slows down time and can pinpoint where you'll shoot the enemies
    • This kept me confused the entire time I was playing the game.23.
    • though).Overall, I had a great time playing this INCREDIBLE game
    • my friend has had a good time killing varmints in the old wild west.
    • Over the course of the game, your Dead Eye is leveled up 2 times, each time becoming a little more useful
    • However, it seems like it takes a long time to ramp up
    • If all you cared about was the main story, you'd finish it (while having a great time) in about 15-20 hours
    • This is a mode that slows down time and, later, allows you to target your shots for a consecutive burst of gunfire
    • In most games this poor design wouldn't be such a big problem, but here every single mission forces you to go halfway across the map, so the slow fast travel just wastes your time and frustrates you as you search for whatever the game feels is a suitable camping spot
    • I have a hard time putting it down every time I play it
    • My only complaint is my husband never wants to do anything with his free time but play this game!
    • You wasted my time and money idiot!
    • Don't be surprised if the first time your horse dies you cry or curse out loud
    • Game has frozen on me 4 times at random
    • My wife and I find ourselves playing it nightly after work and have a hard time turning it off to go to bed
    • I have a very hard time giving this game 3 stars and it tugs at my conscience
    • I've also gotten wedged in between some geographical features a few times within the game world that also results in a death/restart
    • But when the time comes, it doesn't work out so well and John has to try again, this time killing every man in his way, one man at a time
    • Five finger fillet is the game where you stab the knife in between your fingers quickly and try to beat the time limit and liars dice is a game where you try not to get caught lying about your dice under a cup and try to catch your opponent lying.
    • I've also been having a good time going after bounties and doing night watches at Bonnie's place
    • You will have a hard time putting it down!!!!!!!
    • You may be hiding in a spot with a dozen enemies around you and you can take your sweet time about it
    • Some cut scenes have bugged out on me a few times
    • Several times I would close my eyes during these parts of the missions and wonder why this game is making me sit there holding this button
    • Marston does have a dead-eye ability that allows the player to slow time down in order to momentarily identify several targets at once, which helps somewhat
    • At first it just slows down time, but later you can mark your targets by just passing over them with your reticle then pressing R2
    • There are more things to do then I have enough time to write!-Overall(10/10) PERFECT
    • I have been killed by a throwing knife more times than I care to remember at 75+ yards (not feet) up hill when I am crouched and partially behind cover by an NPC that I couldn't even see from where I was located and one time while he was running away from me he threw it over his shoulder without looking and unerringly killed me.
    • I wish that Rockstar would’ve spent more time polishing the game and adding a soundtrack, but I can’t expect perfection
    • What gameplay there is is very fun and presented well, but it feels much more like interactive cutscenes most times that aren't even very challenging
    • He's thrilled about it and seems to have a great time playing it
    • Great product, got it in good time and good condition
    • Its a one time fun train, but like all trains, it has to stop somewhere.
    • You then would have the option to pay it off, or risk being captured every time your near the authorities
    • The game is a tremendous value as well as it seems like it will end several times but keeps going providing a ton of gameplay
    • My biggest complaint is the time spent going from mission to mission, which all involve lengthy travel time filled with often mindless jabber
    • Eight hours into it I was fully engrossed in the story and having a great time
    • Since in multiplayer deadeye does not slow down time, I find it isn't very helpful except when shooting flying birds.
    • I should be annoyed that my husband has devoted so much of his free time to playing a video game right now
    • I did it three times and it froze every time
    • as i over look that issue the game is fun enough to get a solid 5, but for me that cheating issue is terrible
