It seems like the range is shorter than the original and the buttons are soft, not hard like the original

Up button and right button need to be pressed three to four times to get them to function

(of course, when the button actually works, you realize you press the wrong button......and you have to start all over again

The buttons have to push in farther than the official remote from Roku, but this works.

A good substitute but the buttons on the remote are hard to.push and you have to point the remote directly at the roku box
