Because the app updates automatically, we can only suspect that an "upgrade" in software might have knocked out some accuracy and quality

My Wi-FI signal on the camera is almost at 100% and the video looks great, but it wants to keep switch to the lower quality mode "Fluent" because it says the network signal is poor, despite the video looking great.

The Reolink Argus 2 will not connect remotely but locally it will (I'm not the only one with the problem), Reolink Argus 1 batteries go bad after a week, even with the modified settings, and the Reolink C1 has poor video quality, had to bring downthe settings to fluent

The unit seems to be a pretty sturdy build, the 1080p video is great quality and recording to a micro SD card is a plus.

I really wanted to like these cameras as they had some exceptional features and quality, but the app makes the whole system a giant waste of money and time.

The picture is clear, they are relatively easy to setup, and the build quality is great.

The main issue I have is that it doesn’t have the best picture quality and the videos it records are only 7 secondsBattery lasted about a month for a busy part of the house.

Using a wifi analyzer app on my phone, I get 100% strength from my 2.4 band (where I have the camera located), but if I use the "Clear" video setting on the Argus 2, I constantly get a message that says I have poor network quality and I should switch to "Fluent"

I found out if you use your speakerphone on your phone it has a lot of interference but if you disable the speaker and go through your phone the quality is excellent

a while I have trouble connecting to it to check setting and such, but I’m happy with it since putting in 64gb sad card, just wish you could connect it to rest of Reolink NVR system, didn’t find out till after research, has to do with it be battery operated, the solar keeps it cabbages so far, and speaker is’t loud enough for two way conversation
